Introducing the Subaru Impreza STI Sound Library, a high-quality collection of sound effects capturing every detail of this distinctive and raucous car. Whether you’re looking for a spluttering, popping exhaust, or a roaring launch control, this library has you covered. The 2.5 Litre V4 Turbo Impreza STI was recorded with fifteen incredible microphones positioned in and around the car. This included mics fastened inside the engine bay, above the exhausts and positioned inside the air intake. Everything was captured – from the breathy air intake blowoff to the growl of the custom Tomei exhaust.

 

We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications. Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.

 

Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
