We proudly present the Ford Mustang GT Sound Library, a sound effect library packed full of engine growls, exhaust burbles, and all the beastly sounds you’d expect from such an icon of American muscle. The 5.0L V8 Mustang was recorded with eighteen high-quality microphones positioned in and around the car. This included mics fastened inside the engine bay, above the exhausts and positioned inside air intakes. Everything was captured – from the smallest exhaust splutter to the largest growling rev. Trackside material was captured from four microphone rigs positioned along the racetrack.

We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications. Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.

Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
