Digieffects presents the Vintage FX Sound Effects Library - a 12 CD cross section of sound effects from the 50s to the 80s. With almost 1,700 professionally recorded royalty free sound effects, this collection contains a very broad range of sounds - from insects to big explosions. Originally recorded on analogue tape recorders (mostly Nagras), these sound effects have been carefully selected and edited on today's state-of-the-art equipment.

The aim was to select sounds which are now very difficult or impossible to obtain. For example, it's not easy to record a horse and cart rolling through an old town, nor are old cars, trains or machines readily available. If you need sounds to match older movies or audio productions, this is the perfect collection. All of the sound effects are top quality - they will sound great in any audio production, old or new. Many of these effects are really unique - listen to some of the war sounds or airplanes.
